Instructions and Maintenance

At Zman-Watch, each of our automatic watches is meticulously assembled in France by our skilled watchmakers. Every component undergoes thorough inspection before assembly, and each watch is subjected to a stringent quality control process before shipping.

Winding Your Automatic Watch:

  1. Unscrew the crown (turning downwards) until it is loosened.
  2. Then, wind the crown upwards 30 times.
  3. Your watch now has a power reserve of 41 hours (when not worn), but it will self-wind while on your wrist.

Adjusting the Date and Time:

  1. Let’s start with the date. Once the crown is unscrewed and in the “winding” position, pull it out to the first notch.
  2. Here, you can adjust the date by turning the crown downwards.
  3. By pulling the crown out to the second notch, you can adjust the time.
Once the date and time adjustments are complete, push the crown back in and screw it tightly.

Water Resistance:

Our watches are water-resistant up to 100m or 200m, depending on the model (refer to the product specifications). Waterproofing is tested before shipment. To ensure water resistance, ensure the crown is fully closed/tightened before entering water. If the crown is not securely screwed, water resistance cannot be guaranteed.

Maintenance:

Our watches are designed to last for decades. Over time, for stainless steel models, as the case or bracelet ages, it can be polished to give it a new lease of life. We recommend periodic maintenance and cleaning for stainless steel automatic watches.
